04 - Signing

Every executed document carries an audit certificate recording signer IP, intent-to-sign consent, timestamps, SHA-256 fingerprint, retained for 24 months.

Is AI Legal Drafting a beta feature?
No. Legal Drafting is a live feature. It assembles vetted clauses, never invents legal wording; a starting point, not legal advice. The wider platform is in beta and improving fast, but Legal Drafting itself is not a beta feature.
Are electronic signatures legally valid in the UK?
Electronic signatures are admissible for most commercial documents in England & Wales; exceptions include deeds, wills, land transfers and lasting powers of attorney. General information, not legal advice.
Does 99 Data Rooms hold SOC 2 or ISO certification?
SOC 2 / ISO are held by our infrastructure providers, not by 99 Data Rooms; we run on their audited platforms and do not claim their audits as our own
What is the difference between a raw visit and a verified viewer?
A raw visit is a link being opened, before any identity check. A verified viewer has confirmed their email (and, where required, a one-time code or NDA acceptance). Analytics always show both, so open counts are never mistaken for confirmed reads.
Can I upload Word, Excel or PowerPoint files?
Yes, on Business and Enterprise. Office files are converted automatically to a clean PDF preview - viewers never need Microsoft Office installed to read them.
What happens if I replace a document after sharing the link?
Swap the source file once and every live link immediately serves the new version. Previous versions are kept in your private history and are never shown to viewers.
Where is my data hosted?
UK-hosted in London, data resident in the UK, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, DPA on request.
