What it does
Viewer questions land in one inbox with a reference number, categories and open or answered states. Draft answers are held where a viewer can never read them: an answer only reaches the other side when you publish it, and you preview exactly what will be disclosed first.
The whole log exports to CSV for your deal record.
What the assignee field is, and is not
The assignee is a note about who is holding the thread. It is not a routing rule, and nothing is delivered or escalated because of it. Saying so matters, because a field that looks like workflow automation and is not is how a question quietly goes unanswered.
