Open the room the day the mandate signs
There is no quote to request, no statement of work to negotiate and no onboarding call to book. Create the room, upload the pack, send the first gated link.
For M&A boutiques
A boutique wins on judgement and speed, and then spends a week negotiating a statement of work with a data room vendor before the seller can upload a single contract. Run every live mandate on one plan, open the room the same afternoon, and keep sell-side hygiene tight from first look to completion.
Built for boutique economics
Everything a sell-side process needs to stay clean, on a price a five-person firm can hold across a whole year of mandates rather than approve one deal at a time.

There is no quote to request, no statement of work to negotiate and no onboarding call to book. Create the room, upload the pack, send the first gated link.
02
Rooms and links are unlimited from Pro at £19 a month, so three live processes and two that are still pitching all sit under the same subscription.
03
Per-viewer watermarks on Business at £49 a month mark each copy with the viewer it went to. That deters careless forwarding rather than making a document impossible to copy: anything a person can read, they can in principle photograph.
04
NDA acceptance with receipts sits before the room on Business, and one click cuts a link for everyone who had it, effective even mid-scroll. That ends access through the link, though copies already downloaded are not recalled.
05
Unlimited e-signatures on Business, five a month from Pro, and every executed PDF carries a certificate recording signer IP, intent-to-sign consent, timestamps and a SHA-256 fingerprint, kept for 24 months.

Primary data is resident in the UK (London), with encrypted backups in an EU region. Two facts, both of them, because a seller's counsel will ask about the backups as well as the servers.
M&A boutique FAQ
No. The subscription is flat, at £19 a month for Pro or £49 for Business, and rooms and links are unlimited from Pro. Several live mandates run on the same plan rather than each arriving as a separate quote, and the free plan covers 3 rooms and 25 active links, forever, with no card required. A room can be live the same afternoon the mandate signs: sign up, upload the pack, send a gated link, with no procurement cycle or sales call in between.
Per-link verified-email and one-time-code gates, link expiry and revocation, page-level analytics per bidder, NDA acceptance before the room opens and per-viewer watermarks on Business, and a 24-month audit trail of who opened what and when.
Each executed PDF carries an audit certificate with signer IP, intent-to-sign consent, timestamps and a SHA-256 fingerprint. Electronic signatures are admissible for most commercial documents in England and Wales; exceptions include deeds, wills, land transfers and lasting powers of attorney. That is general information, not legal advice.
Redaction inside the platform, for one. There is no built-in redaction tool here, so a document that needs sections blacked out is redacted before it is uploaded. Enterprise platforms also publish multi-level Q&A approval workflows and their own first-party certifications, where our SOC 2 and ISO position is that those certifications are held by our infrastructure providers, not by 99 Data Rooms.
Both incumbent comparisons are written for exactly this decision: the Datasite alternative and Intralinks alternative pages say where each of them still wins. For the deal mechanics themselves, see M&A.
Take the mandate, open the room, send the first link. No quote, no statement of work, no per-deal invoice landing against your fee. Start on the free tier and move to Business when the process needs NDAs and watermarks.
