NDA acceptance gate
The confidentiality step happens before the document opens, not after it has already been read, and you keep a timestamped record of who agreed to what.

What it does
Collect an NDA acceptance and a timestamped receipt before a viewer can open the room. It is useful the moment a deal or disclosure needs a signed-off confidentiality step first.
The order is the whole point. A confidentiality agreement sent afterwards, or attached to an email nobody opened, protects very little. Putting the acceptance in front of the document means there is no window in which the material was readable and the agreement was not yet in place.
What you are left holding
A receipt with a timestamp, tied to the viewer the access gate identified. That is the artefact that matters later, when somebody needs to establish that a particular person agreed before they saw a particular set of documents.
What it does not do
Questions
NDA acceptance gate, answered
The gate collects an acceptance with a timestamped receipt before the room opens. Where you need a document formally executed instead, that is e-signature, which is a separate capability.
The room does not open. The documents behind the gate are not served until the acceptance is recorded.
