Share, sign, prove

Every document, on the record.

Control who opens a document, keep the evidence that they did, and execute it without printing, scanning or posting a thing.

01

Share bundles as tracked links

Send contracts, disclosure bundles and advice as controlled links instead of email attachments, with a page-by-page view log for each recipient.

02

Gate who gets in

Require a verified email and a one-time code, and on Business collect NDA acceptance before anyone can open the documents.

03

Prove who saw what

A 24-month audit trail records who opened each document, when, which pages and for how long, so there is evidence, not guesswork.

04

Sign with evidence

E-signature is included. Every executed PDF carries a certificate recording the signer IP, a confirmed intent-to-sign step, timestamps and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the signed file.

05

Keep control of versions

Swap a file and keep the same link. Previous versions stay in your private history, never shown to viewers, and access is revocable in one click.

06

UK-hosted, GDPR-ready

Documents sit in secure storage in London, encrypted with AES-256 at rest, with a DPA on request and no third-party trackers on your recipients.

Legal document sharing FAQ

Common questions.

Is an electronic signature legally recognised in the UK?

Electronic signatures are admissible and widely recognised under the law of England and Wales for most commercial documents. 99 Data Rooms strengthens yours with evidence: every executed PDF carries an audit certificate recording the signer's IP, a confirmed intent-to-sign step, timestamps and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the signed file. Some documents, such as deeds, wills, land transfers and lasting powers of attorney, carry extra legal formalities, so this is general information, not legal advice.

What audit trail do I get?

For sharing, a page-by-page log per link: who opened it, when, which pages and dwell time, retained for 24 months. For signing, a per-field certificate on the executed document with signer IP, intent-to-sign consent, timestamps and a SHA-256 fingerprint.

Can I require an NDA before someone opens a document?

Yes, on the Business tier. Viewers must accept your NDA before the room opens, and each acceptance is logged with a timestamp against their email.

Where are the documents stored?

In the UK. Documents are held in secure storage in London, encrypted with AES-256 at rest, with a DPA available on request and no ad or cross-site trackers on your recipients.

This page is general information about how 99 Data Rooms handles documents, not legal advice. For the full detail see the security page and the Data Processing Agreement.

Send your next contract as a link. Gate it, track it, and sign it in the browser with a full audit certificate. Three rooms stay free for as long as you want them, no card required.
